Who we are

Solar Surveys UK is run by TNW Marketing, the trading name of TNW Holdings UK Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 14692045. Solar Surveys UK is not connected with Solar Surveys Ltd, the Glasgow structural engineering practice.

What we collect

When you ask for a free commercial solar site survey, we collect:

• your name, business name, phone number and email address
• the postcode of the site and your monthly electricity spend band
• the page you sent the form from, and any advert or campaign details in the link you followed
• notes our team makes when we call you about the site

Why we use it

To call you about the survey, to check whether your site is suitable for solar, and, if it is, to arrange the survey with an installer. We only contact you about the survey you asked for.

Who it goes to

Our own team, and the systems we use to store enquiries and manage our calls. If your site is suitable, we pass your details to the one MCS certified installer we match to your site, so they can arrange and carry out the survey. Your details go to one installer only.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your details

Email leads@solarsurveys.uk to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If we have already passed your details to an installer, we will tell you which one, and pass on your request to delete them.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
